Summer Food Program

Humboldt Community School and Twin Rivers Elementary will be participating in the
Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge
and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or
disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals
will be provided, at a first come, first serve basis, at the sites and times as follows:
Taft Elementary June 5, 2023 to July 27, 2023. No meals will be served July 3,
2023 to July 6, 2023 in observance of the 4 th of July Holiday. Meals are served
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
Meal times are 7:45a – 8:30a for breakfast and 11:00a – 12:15p for lunch. Taft
Elementary will be eat in only.
Twin Rivers Elementary will be following the same dates. Twin Rivers meals are
available by pick up only. Meals will be available for pick up on Tuesday mornings
from 8:30a – 9:00a. Families will receive 4 days of meals at one time. Please
email carends@opaafood.com to sign up for Twin Rivers meals no later than the
Friday before, state the name of pick up person and number of students needing
meals for the week. There will also be a sign up sheet available at the pick-up
location. Extra meals will be available for those that miss the sign up.
Adults may purchase meals at a price of $3.00 for breakfast and $4.50 for lunch
Menus for both locations will be posted at a later date. Twin Rivers menu will
come with heating and storage instructions to assure food safety.
